the artist

From the underground energy of 1980s HipHop to the refined walls of art galleries, Paul Dworacek’s creative journey is anything but ordinary.

Graffiti Artist | Urban Contemporary Art | Custom Design
Paul Dworacek is an Austrian artist whose roots lie in the underground HipHop scene of the late 1980s. Influenced by breakdancing and the early graffiti movement—known as „writing“—his passion for street culture shaped his artistic identity. A defining moment came in 1996 when he attended the legendary Rock Steady Anniversary in New York City, cementing his connection to the global HipHop community.
Over the years, Paul developed a unique visual language, blending graffiti, airbrush, and mixed media into powerful, elegant works. As a pioneer in urban contemporary art, he is one of the first artists to bring street art into galleries and private collections, elevating graffiti into a respected art form.

His portfolio includes standout projects like:

> Hotel Le Méridien, Vienna – gallery-featured artworks
> Life Ball VIP Room – vibrant event installations
> Moxy Airport Hotel – one of Europe’s largest hotel murals (900 m²)

Paul’s mission is to push graffiti beyond its rebellious roots, giving it space within the fine art world alongside movements like Pop Art, New Media, and Modernism. In addition to canvas and wall art, Paul designs custom furniture pieces, merging functionality with artistic expression for clients worldwide

With every piece, Paul Dworacek challenges convention—proving that street art belongs not only in public spaces but in the heart of contemporary art and design.
