Art composition from a now historic sketchbook by Paul Dworacek from 2002. The composition was completed in its current form almost 20 years later, in 2019. The graffiti element in the book served as inspiration for the new interpretation of the sketch in 2019 and was thus completed and placed on a painting plate.
The artist associates this sketch with the Cuban Missile Crisis and the „Operation Mongoose“, also known as „The Cuban Project“ during the 1960s. The colorful Habana is darkened by the CIA‘s surveillance and propaganda. This artwork is intended to depict this.
